The Coastal Pass is a new booking tool that enables visitors to plan and build their own itineraries, creating bespoke short breaks and holidays. Our unique interactive video footage brings to life the beauty of the east coast of England, from the ports of Hull to Harwich. Uniquely, they draw attention to stretches of coastline little explored by international and domestic visitors.
For the first time, visitors are able to create their own unique experiences – selecting places to eat, stay, and visit all at the click of a button. The Pass allows potential holiday makers to focus on their areas of interest, whether nature, culture, history or sports and build in activities to create a break that suits them.
It features new film extending from the port of Hull through to Harwich, taking in the resorts of Skegness and Cleethorpes and hidden treasures like Sutton-on-Sea, spreading across Norfolk’s 90 miles of expansive coastline, from Great Yarmouth and Cromer to the sweeping stretches of the Suffolk and Essex coast.
The Coastal Pass has been created by the National Coastal Tourism Academy which works to improve the visitor experience on the coast and support coastal businesses. To find out more about the work of the National Coastal Tourism Academy visit www.coastaltourismacademy.co.uk.
The Coastal Pass is funded by the government’s Discover England Fund, administered by VisitEngland.
